Tooth-fairy

How much does the tooth-fairy pay for each tooth? What if there are special circumstances? Someone I know lost a tooth on Christmas Eve. Should something special happen?

balance

USA Stats:
An average of 25% of the children in America are obese.
Yet, 12 million are left hungry and need to be fed.
The key to our vision might be balance....

Namaste

I have practiced it when attending my yoga classes and now I have decided to bring it en route.

Namaste is not about where we are going; it is about how we travel.
As we step foot in 2012, it is my intention to use Namaste with full consideration. (In Sandskrit, Namaste means “I bow to you.”) Namaste is that moment, the moment you spot truth, love, light or peace. It confirms a spark of resonation and opens the field of awareness. On the path of life Namaste allows us to come together energetically and ego-free, if only for a moment.

Share how you practice Namaste on your journey.....

Thinking about a growing "classroom"

My brother in law and I were discussing what college would look like in 6 years. I'm not sure brick and mortar is the Best plan for the future. What if kids can work and live abroad and study for an American degree. Won't they graduate more worldly, more responsible, more compassionate?

iPod touch

I've heard you don't need an iPhone.
I'm experimenting with an iPod touch. So far I haven't gotten any calls. Are you laughing with me, then you are in the right place.

The Race

We wonder sometime which race each of us is in.  Is it a race for money, knowledge, power or spirit.  We have had sometime to reflect and understand that the race changes in real life.  Shortly we will not be racing in real life but on the Amazing Race.  We hope to relive our own race in Europe many years ago.  Looking forward we hope to travel to share our experiences on the show.  We hope to visit schools to share the real life skills that were needed to apply, participate and hopefully win the race.  Certainly as educators our focus will be on reading, having students read clues, use maps and problem solve situations will strengthen their understand of why reading is important, apply map skills to their life and have fun.  We hope you are as motivated by our idea as we are.
